Market Day is a great fundraiser for our school, but in October it gets even better! If we have 75 orders and reach $3,000, the library will get $400 in Scholastic books! How easy is that? So wait til October, but then get those orders in! Ordering and paying online is the easiest way to do it. Then you just have to drop by the school on pick up day. Loads of healthy snacks and easy meals.
I just sent in an order for 338 new books for our library. I'm really excited because I am working on our science books in the nonfiction, so many of those books will be in that section. I've also found a lot of really good fiction books. I wish it didn't take so long to get them, though! I have a hard time waiting. It's a little bit like waiting for your birthday. I'll let you know when they're ready.
